Volunteering at Limmud Johannesburg

Limmud South Africa is a volunteer-driven, community-spirited organisation, with no professional or full-time staff. Our volunteers dedicate countless hours to make conference happen.
In addition to planning for Limmud, we have a dedicated group of volunteers who support us on-conference to make sure everything runs smoothly over the weekend. Limmud cannot succeed without this help, and we are so appreciative of anyone who can donate a few hours to make the experience special.
Below you will find a summary of the various roles we need volunteers for. We hope you can identify a few that interest you. Once we’ve had our volunteer kick-off event, you will be able to apply and sign up for the roles and slots that you prefer.
Volunteer Roles
- On the Thursday night before conference, Limmudniks arrive at the Indaba Hotel to transform the space into something truly magical. Must be able to wield a 4-pound hammer. Extra points if you come with your own hammer.
